Mensa SEO

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

The Mensa Phoenix chapter sent out an image of my artwork Sinuosity #1, along with a little note mentioning my being featured artist for a day at Imagekind, and for the month in my local art league. It goes out to about 600 people and has links to Daniel’s blog “Art That Doesn’t Suck“, Sinuosity, and my main gallery. Alright!!! A little more SEO never hurts.

Art by Kinnally™

I’m very overdue in keeping this blog up to date. I’ve added several new pieces of artwork to my galleries at http://kinnally.imagekind.com. Please check them out. They are the result of many hours of effort, and I hope you enjoy them!

And I was the Featured member at Imagekind.com for a day! I spotted it accidently one morning. I’m very pleased with this as there are so many artists to choose from at Imagekind and they have to really like your art in order to be selected. Have a great day!

New pictures of the day

Wednesday, July 4th, 2007

Two more image of the day pictures have been added to the site here. They are satellite images selected daily by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the NASA Earth Observatory.

Infrared images of cloud cover

Monday, June 18th, 2007

Infrared images of cloud cover were added today for the U.S. east coast, the Canadian west coast, most of Alaska (also added to visible cloud cover), and Hawaii. The page is located at http://www.pixelatedpalette.com/infraredcloudcover. More to follow!

Satellite Feeds

Sunday, June 17th, 2007

The satellite feeds for the visible cloud cover are installed.(http://www.pixelatedpalette.com/sailinginfo/visiblecloudcover.html) They show a little bit of the lower Canadian coastline, Newfoundland, the seashores of the continental U.S., the US Great Lakes,  Mexico including Baja and the Gulf of California, the Florida Keys, Bermuda, almost all of the Gulf of Mexico, and Cuba and the northernmost Carribean. Images are supposed to be updated ever 30 minutes, so if you see those clouds rolling in and you’re wondering how much of the sky is covered, take a peek.

I wish you all the best of sailing or wherever else your endeavors may take you! Tell us about your sailboat or your latest boating adventure.
