Pierre Leduc Art Prints

This gorgeous art print of an American Hare in the woods, painted in 2004 and titled “Green Carpet”, captures the movement of the animal beautifully. Note the misty forest air, the details of the surroundings, and the overall atmosphere of the painting. Pierre Leduc prefers to work with acrylic paints, although sometimes he uses oil or lithography on stone. This particular piece was originally painted using acrylics. It was part of the 2005 Quebec Wildlife Foundation Stamp & Print Program.

In the Church of the Holy Cross, a giclee

In the Church of the Holy Cross”
A statue inside of the Chapel of the Holy Cross, Sedona, Arizona; built by a Frank Lloyd Wright disciple in 1956.

This photo was taken by me during one of my father’s visits to Arizona. I wish I knew the story behind the statue and what the person depicted in the statue was holding at one time. It almost looks like he had a musical instrument. Look at the graceful position of the fingers on his left hand. Since he’s standing on rocks and thus outside, I suspect that he’s not playing an instrument but rather doing something else. Is he possibly a shepard, or is ‘he’ really a ‘she’?

It has been suggested that this is Joan of Arc, originally holding a sword and staff, which is very possibly correct.

Connections”
Or if you prefer – tendrils, electrical discharges, plasma fields, firing synapses; what do you see? Some suggestions were bubble gum, Easter eggs, neurons, jellyfish & a Chambered Nautilus using illegal substances (lol!).

Featured Giclee Art Prints by Kinnally

I have been fortunate enough to have several of my giclee art prints featured on the main page of the sites where I offer my work for sale. Today I was again featured on the front page of Imagekind and the piece they chose was “Reaction“. It’s a bright, colorful artwork with an ‘explosive’ look to it.

The top mat is “Cabernet”, a deep red with slight purple undertone and a rich sueded surface (#1609). The second mat is “Gold Bullion”, a dark gold with sponged bronze undertones and a smooth surface (#1205).

Other artworks that have been featured by Imagekind on the front page are “Sinuosity #1“, “Angel’s Wing” and “Red Planet“, and at Redbubble, “Smooth Moves“. These are features that I happened to catch as I reviewed the sites, I don’t know if there were other times that the art was displayed without my knowledge.

In addition, my work has been promoted within Redbubble on numerous group pages and contests, too many to list here. Artworks such as “Dragon Skin” and “Gooey Chocolate Caramel Nougat #1” were featured on different sites for winning contests, one a monthly challenge with 165 entries and one a yearly museum sponsored art show with over 120 entries. Other artwork, for example “Rhino Ruminations” (an animal contest award winner), “Inner Secrets #1“, “A Little Splash of Color“, etc., have been featured on blogs and smaller websites.

It’s a great feeling to have my work accepted by a variety of art related sites and individuals, and I hope to be as successful in the future as I continue to submit my creations to various shows and contests. My sincere thanks to the people and companies involved, I truly appreciate the exposure!

Giclee Art Print Price Reduction

I have made the decision to reduce the prices on most of my Limited Run fine art giclees, at least for the time being. This will preclude their sale in art galleries but offer a better financial option to my online customers. I will still offer both Limited and Open editions and there will be a price difference between the two for obvious reasons. Almost all artwork is open edition.

One out of every ten of my Limited Run art prints will still win a free print of their choice for the purchaser, even if they’ve only purchased one print! (Edit – this offer for free art has ended.)

Shellfish Dream” only 100 giclees available. Available in six sizes from 10″ x 7.5″ up to 58.7″ x 44″ and on eight types of art paper and two types of canvas. I’ve chosen default art paper and framing options to make things easier for a buyer, but those choices are readily changed or you may purchase the giclee print and have your local framer frame it for you.

I’ve dedicated this art to my sister, she loves shells!

The default framing size as shown is 41.8″ x 33.8″ overall (32″ x 24″ giclee print). The Satin Finish Premium Luster Photo Paper delivers highly saturated prints by offering maximum ink coverage and a high D-Max for true photographic reproductions. Its 10-mil base gives prints a photographic feel, and keeps the paper cockle-free.
